Urtica Urens
for Dogs & Cats
A great indicator of being too alkaline is plaque and yellow stain on the
teeth. Please don’t brush your dog or cat’s teeth. There isn’t a wolf or mountain
lion that uses a toothbrush…and yet they certainly have gleaming white smiles.
That’s because they are eating raw food and keeping their systems acidic.
Mother Nature has it all figured out; we just have to provide our domesticated
animals with the proper food and nutrients and their systems will be healthy
as well. So by not brushing you will see any discoloration or plaque on the
teeth and that is your first indication that your dog/cat needs C+Plus and,
in most cases, Urtica Urens to get the body’s pH back in balance.
Yeast infections are
another indicator…especially for dogs…that the system is too alkaline. Symptoms
are constant scratching of either side of the torso, licking the genital area
and/or the paws incessantly, chronic ear infections and often a yeasty odor
to the body and especially the ears.
Urtica Urens tincture builds up the
acidity which in turn helps with digestion and utilization of calcium, thus
dissolves plaque, crystals/stones or other calcium deposits. You must
use the mother tincture which is a liquid. Do not get Urtica Urens
in a potency (e.g. 6x, 6c, 30c). It is only in the mother tincture form that
it helps to create the acidity.
If you have cats…even though they are presently healthy…you must keep Urtica
Urens mother tincture on hand because there is always a possibility of a urinary
infection or blockage and you will need it immediately. I cannot tell you
how many cats this product has saved…and how much money it has saved for the
guardian…because instead of rushing your cat to the emergency room, you start
giving the Urtica Urens and usually within an hour or two s/he is urinating
again.
I stress the importance with cats; however, I am seeing these same kidney/bladder
problems in dogs…especially small dogs…quite often now. In medium and large
dogs I am seeing yeast infections. I attribute this regression to the fact
that each generation is getting more and more alkaline because they are eating
cooked, canned, dry food, being fed the wrong type of calcium or none at
all and are given vaccines which devastate the system…therefore, we are seeing
more yeast problems, kidney and bladder infections and stones.
If your cat/dog shows any signs of scant urine,
urinating too frequently, not urinating often enough or urinating in unusual
places, then you should dilute Urtica Urens in Aloe Concentrate preferably,
purified water is next best if you do not have PMK Aloe Concentrate on hand.
This combination can be given with a syringe, dropper or spoon.
Aloe Concentrate helps to assuage the strong taste
of the Urtica urens and it also helps to soothe the internal stinging of
the infection or passing of the crystals/stones.
Start with the one drop per pound of body weight, but increase the number
of times you give it to three to four times a day.
If your cat is in and out of the litter box or your dog is wanting to go
out all the time and they are urinating just a couple of drops at a time,
not urinating at all, and/or are straining, give the above dosage every 15
minutes until s/he has a normal quantity of urine.
If your
cat/dog has the above symptoms and does not urinate within two to three hours
of giving the Urtica Urens every 15 minutes, you need to go to the veterinarian.
However, the first thing you want to know from the veterinarian is 1) whether the bladder is full or do you have more time to continue to give the Urtica Urens, 2) if it is full, can it be easily expressed to give you more time, 3) if it is full and blocked, then you will indeed have to allow the veterinarian to insert a catheter, drain the bladder, 4) the veterinarian may also suggest flushing the system by giving an IV, which is also a good idea, 5) by no means allow them to operate and remove the penis.
Unfortunately, this is suggested and done over
and over, because veterinarians do not know about Urtica Urens. As I’m sure
most men will agree, amputating the penis is never a solution. That surgery
only compounds the problem, because now your male cat has an opening that
cannot be opened and closed, causing hygienic problems, discomfort, open
to injury, chronic infections, and every time he gets in the litter box and
buries his urine or feces, he will fling litter into that open area with
the possibility of all other types of infections and problems.
After the blockage is cleared, continue to give
Urtica Urens on a regular basis. Once there has been a blockage that means
your dog/cat already has a predisposition to the problem and it could occur
at any time again…either because s/he is continuing to pass crystals/stones
or reoccurring infections.
Continue to watch the color and condition of the
teeth to indicate to you if the pH is staying in balance.
Urtica Urens is available through PMK Organics 1-800-975-7555. It is $10.95
for a one-ounce bottle. You need to have this product on hand if you have
a cat/dog with any probability of urinary blockage. Ordering after you see
the problem is too late!
An added feature is that Urtica Urens is excellent for burns. Keep the bottle handy in the kitchen. Apply it full strength immediately on any burned area. The stinging, swelling, redness, pain will often not even materialize.
